Have you used Hjertegarn Incawool? Its a beautiful yarn which I won in a giveaway run by EmmayandLien – its super soft and a delight to knit with. Its just beautiful. One skein, perfect for a cowl… I browsed ravelry and found this gorgeous pattern. Admittedly I have adapted it a little! This knitted up easily, perfect for a christmas gift. I hoped to knit up some cable wrist warmers with the third of the skein remaining. I was not overly disappointed to have to buy a second skein in order to finish the wrist warmers. I have enough left to knit some for me too! The pattern for the wrist warmers is also from ravlery, find the free pattern here. I have learnt to knit in the round using the magic loop method, thanks to a you tube video! Double Point needles remain a little daunting. I did spot some errors with the pattern, if you knit them up yourself make sure you knit 10 rows of rib when you cast on, as per the instructions for the second wrist warmer:) The wrist warmers are super quick to knit up too.
